Hotels in Poets Corner

Very nice hotel right next to the Amtrak station. We took the train so location was perfect. However, you will hear trains running day and night. Very clean room, comfortable bed, great shower. Fridge and microwave. Great breakfast buffet. Walk to wonderful food court place with many options.

Excellent location. Excellent staff.

My go to in the area for staying. Love this place and its location.

Great location, right outside the city over the bridge near lots of restaurants and night life.

Host Alexis went above and beyond to assist us with our stay. She was awesome!

Exceptional hotel. Primarily, the staff was professional and courteous with personality. Ricky was outstanding at check-in, Giselle was enjoyable at the wine bar, and Kevin was kind at check-out. The room was quiet and very well designed. Little details in the design were smart and made it super comfortable. Love the blackout shades and the shade in the “window” of the bathroom. Nice to have a foot bar in the shower. There were no plastic bags in the garbages. Loved the floor material. Super...

The Argonaut is in a great location to see many of San Francisco bay area attractions, all within walking distance. The hotel is clean, quiet and safe, with great hospitality service.

The hotel was great, I just did not care for the area

Good

Great location to stay. Many sites and restaurants in short walking distance plus public transportation is available and easy to use.

We stayed with our preteen and little guy and it was wonderful. Area felt pretty safe. We had a bay view room and got to watch the lighthouse at Alcatraz at night. Real close to dining, Ghirardelli Square, Fisherman's Wharf and just a couple blocks from the Big Bus station. Breakfasts were good and definitely saved money not paying for that every day! They are strict about the breakfast cutoff.

A Sublime Experience at Hotel Nikko San Francisco Our stay at Hotel Nikko in San Francisco was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a sense of calm and luxury that made this trip unforgettable. Hotel Nikko seamlessly combines understated elegance with the vibrant energy of the city, making it the perfect choice for both relaxation and exploration. The service throughout our stay was impeccable. Every staff member we encountered—from the front desk to...

Beautiful hotel, comfortable and welcoming! Only issue was they broke my back window parking around the corner, so in hindsight the 70$ valet parking would of been cheaper then what I payed for the broken window, don’t leave anything viewable from the outside of the car, because these thieves aren’t playing in San Francisco

My stay was fantastic. The only negative thing I experienced was that they removed the US flag from its place of honor at the peak of their hotel in order to fly a pride flag in its place. As a veteran whos friends gave their lives for the US and whos coffins were draped with that flag, this was intolerable. There were plenty other places they could and did fly the pride flag. It should never fly in lieu of the Stars and Stripes.

Stayed 2nights. clean and beautifully kept room and bathroom. clean sheets and towels. will definitely stay there again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean bed and pillows were comfortable. Great location within walking distance to fishermen warf and pier 69 and pier 33 for Alcatraz tour. Definitely would recommend this hotel

Their guest service is a 20/10. I called earlier in the week to ask about arriving early and parking. They were gracious and accommodating, saying we could check into our room if it was ready when we arrived. On arrival, the doorman (shamefully I didn’t get his name) was welcoming, friendly and efficient. I had injured my knee a couple of days earlier and was on crutches and he did everything he could to help me. At the front desk, Jared and Dominique were warm, welcoming, professional and...

We had a lovely time staying at the Marines’ Memorial hotel this past week. The rooms and bathroom were very clean, and the beds were so comfortable! The closet was big! It was also quiet for such a central location. The hotel felt very safe for my mom, me, and my daughter, and there were a range of ages staying there, from older adults to young children. The free happy hour and breakfast were on the 12th floor and had amazing views. The breakfast was a full buffet and there was coffee...
