Exceptional hotel. Primarily, the staff was professional and courteous with personality. Ricky was outstanding at check-in, Giselle was enjoyable at the wine bar, and Kevin was kind at check-out. Very nice hotel right next to the Amtrak station. We took the train so location was perfect. However, you will hear trains running day and night. Very clean room, comfortable bed, great shower. Fridge and microwave. Great breakfast buffet. Walk to wonderful food court place with many options.

Great location, right outside the city over the bridge near lots of restaurants and night life.

the one i just don’t like is parking. it should be free parking already because we check in.

Great location to stay. Many sites and restaurants in short walking distance plus public transportation is available and easy to use.

Pleased with this hotel. Very clean, but thin ceilings, floors and walls. I heard all walking above me and i could hear the water from toilets flushing and showers. I could clearly hear everyone coming out of the elevator. Needed earplugs to sleep.

Beautifully appointed rooms with the right mix of antique charm and modern amenities. Also, the Kezar Pub next door is a great place for food, drinks, and sports watching!

Everything was great except parking.

Great spot to enjoy downtown. Quiet at night and lots of parking options.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean bed and pillows were comfortable. Great location within walking distance to fishermen warf and pier 69 and pier 33 for Alcatraz tour. Definitely would recommend this hotel

The emblem is a true gem. the staff from the moment we walked in until the moment we left were exceptional, friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable, and we loved all of the creative touches if you are looking for comfort, fun and inspiration stay here.

Great staff, great property

We stayed with our preteen and little guy and it was wonderful. Area felt pretty safe. We had a bay view room and got to watch the lighthouse at Alcatraz at night. Real close to dining, Ghirardelli Square, Fisherman's Wharf and just a couple blocks from the Big Bus station. Breakfasts were good and definitely saved money not paying for that every day! They are strict about the breakfast cutoff.
