Location, location, location!!! If you’re looking for action, crowds, and the tourist crunch, then this is NOT the place for you. Located in the upscale San Isidro neighborhood, you’re close enough, yet far enough away from the madness of Miraflores. Super safe neighborhood, great dining options close by, and upscale shopping. But, not snooty or pretentious. The hotel is safe, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good.
I like the silence at night, which allows you to rest and sleep pleasantly. The staff is very helpful, friendly and courteous.
Perhaps the only drawback is that it does not have a dining room service. Many times, one does not want to leave the hotel and wants to eat something right there.
The room was clean and well maintained and cleaned every day.

The historic centre is about 30 minutes by taxi but Uber is cheap.
We really enjoyed our night in Lima. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. They have complimentary coca tea in the reception area. The area where it is located, Miraflores, is very safe. It is the preferred area for tourist due to its safety and available restaurants. Really nice hotel for a great price. They have good wifi, and there is staff all evening if you get in late from your flight. Rooms are well kept and water is hot in the showers.
Beautiful historic property with abundant charm. Restaurant and bar are top notch. Staff very friendly and fluent in English. Very safe/secure amd well located near the Malecon, parks, and other destinations.
I have been traveling to Lima several times ver the last 10 years. I always select Tierra Viva Miraflores at Gral. Mendiburu. The staff is just superb - from check-in to breakfast to assistance with taxis, etc. Suggest selecting a room facing the inside courtyard for lower steer noise.
I travel regularly to Peru and usually always stay in the same couple of hotels. On this trip, I decided to branch out and try something new, and I'm so happy I did! El Golf Hotel Boutique was a wonderful surprise. The hotel staff were friendly, responsive, and very welcoming. The common areas of the hotel were lovely, clean and warm. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

SUGGESTION: Since Lima is not a place where people can drink tap water, it is necessary that the hotel provides mineral water on a daily bases not only the first day. Requesting it every night is not comfortable specially when arriving after the restaurant is closed. Since there is a little refrigerator in the room, bottles could be kept there and charged to the room.
The stay was very comfortable, I only had one little issue, I knew I had to check in at 3:00 PM, but I came a little bit earlier to see if I can leave my bags somewhere here or even wait here until 3:00 PM, but they literally told me to go on my own somewhere else until 3 pm, I couldn’t even stay in the lobby. If you respect the time of your stay, the place is perfect, but If you think they’ll help you in other way then nope.
Absolutely love my stay. Super clean. Everyone was so accommodating. The location was wonderful cause its right in the middle of the financial district. Many stores near by. I didn't pack enough close and was able to walk next door to Zara. Only thing I wish is if they have more available spa treatments. Tip: book all your spa treatments in advance. The price is really reasonable which is why everything was fully booked.
