"I stayed in April when the weather was cool. I didn't need the a/c. The staff is friendly, the bath and skincare amenities were much appreciated. The room is spacious, the shower is great, and the bed is very comfortable. The location is great as well. There is a nearby metro entrance, convenience stores, restaurants and markets all within short walking distance."

"The Grand is a very nice hotel near the middle of the city. But it is a very large city. Conveniently located at an important crossroad, subways, buses, and taxis are available. Plenty of good food nearby, Korean and Western. Room was large and comfortable. Giant Starbucks in the lobby"

Booked it for an overnight transit. It had everything we needed for the night.
The surrounding area had lots of restaurants and the hotel was close to the subway station.

Pros: The breakfast was amazing! It had tons of variety of Western & Korean food for my son that is a picky eater. There was machine to refresh hang & steam our clothes in the room. There was also lots of space to hang our clothes. Shopping is very close in walking distance.
All the staff spoke English well & they always helped me call a taxi. Cons: I wish they put my name on my luggage when I left it behind their desk after I checked out & went shopping.
Wow. Gorgeous place. Great location- walkable to Dongdaegu Station. Great view, and very large space.
Negatives: No washer or dryer. Very little towels. Only 1 tv in living room that you had to max out the volume to hear. No other TV’s. No paper towels. Marriott indoor pool and gym next door you can use for $$$.

Great value hotel! The property and the room were very clean. Amazing soaking tub in their standard room! Breakfast included was an added bonus with a good selection at breakfast.
We went in the summer and noticed the hallway’s and lobby air conditioning was not on, which seemed unpromising. However, the AC in the room worked great and cooled down very quickly.
It’s a steep 5 minute walk from/to Dong Daegu train station. You can cut thru the Shinsegae department store, for an easier commute...
