"The hotel itself was fine. The lobby was clean and stylish with a coffee bar and snack shop. On first impression the room was nice but we quickly discovered it was not clean. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and small pieces of trash on the floor in the room. Had it been clean, I would have given a higher rating. The staff was very nice and friendly. They even had a stash of new toothbrushes to offer, as my daughter forgot hers.

Juniper has an incredible staff. The staff really made our stay. We loved the spa technicians and the restaurant staff. The spa is pricey in comparison to other services in Bend but they are talented and I felt that the purchased services were worth what we paid. I would probably not return to the spa, but mainly because of the price, unrelated to the services. The entire staff treated us like family. very thoughtful and considerate and kind. The staff is beyond excellent and communication was prompt and timely during a brief emergency that occured not far from the property. The manager stayed late into the evening til sure all was well. Nice place with a pool and hot tub and an excellent breakfast. We come to Bend regularly and will definitely return
Was not up to par for the price and atmosphere . Usual bartender David was gone and the replacement was struggling, did not know her drinks and was not asking for assistance, and making bad judgment calls. She also didn't know how to pronounce the wines, (Cabernet with a net instead of nay) which doesn't instill confidence when you are spending a lot of money on the wine
The property is obviously an old motel that has been remodeled. The remodel is excellent and the price is beyond compare. Don't know if they will keep it at the price, but bargain shoppers should check this one out soon, before it is discovered. If you can splurge, try out the spa room - very nice!
We really enjoyed staying here! The view of the river is beautiful and the walking path along the river is very cool! It’s definitely walking distance to downtown and the restaurants. It’s great for dogs, there’s a park right next to the property and the pet area is very easy to get to. This place was a great find and we will definitely stay here again!
Location is fantastic. There is a hiking trail down to the Crooked River, near by golf course and about a 20 minute drive to Smith Rock state park. Very clean and the personnel were polite and professional. I had hesitated to book based on some negative past reviews but it seems the property is under new management and is doing a great job! We will be back.
