The room was really clean! The doors and walls are really then. If I spoke the neighbor’s language, I would have known everything he was saying on the phone. Very comfy bed though. I slept like a king. The view was awesome too. Great HVAC system.
I enjoyed the most how true the place is to its history. You will, for example, not get bathrooms like this elsewhere today. And it works perfectly. So: welcome to another time and another place!
Beautiful and tranquil. Well thought out design of the rooms and property. Minimalist yet architecturally aesthetic.
Delicious breakfast brought to the room
Quinta Ponte da Capinha is a cosy hotel in a rural setting that is a perfect base from which to visit a number of charming historical Portuguese villages. From the interesting story about the transformation of this generations-old family farm house into a 7-room B&B hotel, to restaurant recommendations to details about local points of interest and...
A lovely family run hotel both clean and comfortable with a lovely pool and a small bar where you can sit on the terrace under grapevines and look at the beautiful view.
The hotel restaurant is extremely good and parking and breakfast are free.
I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be back.
Facilities were very clean. Breakfast buffet was good. The pool was nice. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. And the bartender is did a great job as well.
Beautiful hotel in amazing surroundings. Serra de Estrela is absolutely gorgeous! Would love to go back. Their jacuzzi was out of order and their spa pool has only one waterfall working, hence the 4 stars on the condition.
Breakfast is quite good. One of our dinners was superb, the second dinner was so so. Service was nice. All in all I would consider staying there again. You can’t beat the location.
