Moonrise Inn has a great view of sunrise and the ocean. It is easy to drive to and find. The breakfast is health-conscious and delicious. The property has unique modern architecture and some artwork.
This property is the best one I stayed during my two-week travel around the island. The room, common areas and the private garden are all very clean and well maintained. The owners are very kind and helpful people.

If you get lucky, meaning less than 4 people need breakfast, then you will have the opportunity to enjoy Michelin level breakfast....
The property located at Chulu farm, not too far from Luye, great location for these two places. Also it’s a walking distance if you want to visit the botanical garden. The property itself is brand new, super clean, bed is comfortable, TV offers a lot of selections even Netflix. The host lady is very friendly, offered us Karaoke at the lobby. Other than not too many dinning choices around(7/11 and family mart is near by), I highly recommend this place!
Though there's only stairs, the owner kindly helped carry our luggages so it wasn't a problem. It was good that we can easily contact with the owner over LINE. The room is spacious and tidy. If I visit Taitung again, this place will be the first option for sure.
Everything is great except the parking space might be tight especially during the weekend. Also the location is good ( walking distance from the train station) but far from
many main attractive points so driving may be a better way to tour around the city.
