Overall it was a very comfortable stay in my basic room. The property manager was very attentive and prompt with any inquiries and/ or needs. The cleaning staff were also very courteous. The house had a nice easy feel to it and it was located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Perhaps, it was the time of year (holidays) that most residents could have been away as the streets around the area were a bit deserted and dark at night for walking alone. There was nothing to complain about this hotel. The rooms are really big, spacious and comfortable, well lit and clean. And despite the heat of Merida we never suffered. I think it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. A lot better than bigger name hotels in the city. And the staff was really helpful and attentive. All in all the best stay I’ve had
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are rustic but very comfortably appointed, firm beds and first class linens. The food is great and micheladas are the best. Nice and clean facility overall. A feeling of airiness in the middle of Merida. And absolutely safe.
Upon arrival the checkin was seamless and the staff friendly. Hotel is new and the facilities well kept.
There are severas good restaurants within walking distance and the area Is very safe.
The hotel is pet friendly which is a plus for pet owners.
A buffet breakfast is served for an additional charge.
I stayed for 6 nights and recommend the hotel to anyone traveling Merida. I did not give the 5 stars as the WiFi was very slow and not working at all at times, which was important for me...
The NH is a nice hotel at two corners of the Paseo Montejo. We did not try the breakfast/restaurant because there are plenty upscale restaurants available just down the elevator. The staff was very friendly and watching the sunset from the pool on the rooftop is an amazing experience. Highly recommendable!
The Hotel Haciendo was our perfect oasis from the heat and pace of spending the day exploring Merida. The service was truly impeccable, and having breakfast available every morning was a great and delicious way to start the day. We would absolutely stay here again!
We loved Merida and Luz en Yucantan hotel. Our party of four utilized three different rooms over four nights. The room La Puesta del Sol room was noisy at night due to music from the park a block away even on week nights. Both La Perla and La Sombra rooms faced the pool and were quiet at night. The former had a large patio in front with table and chairs. All beds were comfortable, showers had hot water and the breakfasts were delectable. This is not a reflection on the hotel but rather on the guests. I think a noise/party schedule would be helpful. Some guests where using the pool at midnight while listening to music and chatting and drinking. During normal hours that would be ok. The space between the pool and the rooms is small so noises easily carry onto the rooms. Customers should be made aware to be respectful of other guests comfort.
This hotel is a fantastic bargain, and it keeps enlarging and improving. Nice staff, small dining area, but a terrific cook. It's always clean, and many guests return and return. Good hotel.
