"Facing the Pacific Ocean, Solana was a great night's stay that made capturing sunrise easily achievable, even if it was as early as 440am! Being a container home, space was understandably tight within, but they made good use of the exterior space instead of cramming more units. The number of mosquitoes reduced the enjoyment of the outdoor space, which was unfortunate. Will definitely consider revisiting for a longer stay in order to hold a BBQ!"

A bit confused at where to check in and who to talk to staff at first. But at the end, staff was very helpful and lovely. Room condition is relaxing as it is a resort but cleanness can be up a notch when there was so spots for dust and little bit dirty. Overall not too bad. Would recommend if you wanna get away from a city life and enjoy some countryside life like me."
"Property very clean, and staff was very nice. We could enjoy the onsen with ocean view in the room. It's far from the city but overall, my stay was very quiet and relaxing. Recommend to take a taxi from the JR Choshi station, so you don't need to wait or worry about the schedule of the CD line. It's easy when going back to Tokyo, cuz the bus stop is right in front of the hotel."

It’s located at the right next to the Sawara station. Very convenient for catching trains. Sawara had many tourist interests to check out and the city’s little Edo area is worth visiting if you enjoy seeing old Japanese neighborhoods. Hotel provides comfortable, clean and friendly atmosphere. Their breakfast is tasty. I enjoyed staying at the hotel very much.
If you are staying more than 2 days get a rental car. The hotel is very good at what it does, which is provide a relaxing atmosphere with an accessible onsen. The restaurants there are not really restaurants. Breakfast is a buffet of plentiful food, mostly Japanese but I believe a pure westerner could survive. There is no lunch service. The dinner is a set menu of classical Japanese fare, which after the second day becomes a bit tiresome, but doable. They also offered a bonus meal at 9pm of...
Everything was great. You need to ask the staff to help with bags otherwise it is not offered. But upon asking they were helpful. There were steep stairs to my room. Carrying a bag up was hard but I didn’t want to hurt myself trying to carry them down.
