I would recommend the Staybridge Suites in Cairo to any American traveling to Cairo. Although it was not close to the tourist sites, Our one bedroom suite provided a welcome retreat from the often overwhelming chaos that is Cairo. Hotel is beautiful and staff are helpful very secure but surrounding neighborhood is rough. If you only stay in the hotel and take Ubers you will be fine. I would not recommend walking in this area. Restaurant for breakfast in lobby area and rooftop are excellent with good food and great service. Great views of the Nile.
