"The hotel was very quiet with a lovely well maintaine garden and pool at the front. The room was clean and quiet and the breakfast was very nice, with plenty of choice inclusing Nepali dishes (my preference over 'western' food!). You could walk easily to Thamel.

I highly recommend the Indian restaurant (we visited it twice) & the room service (was so good) and the outdoor lounge. Breakfast was very good & different than usual options. But needs more space if some groups attend the breakfast.

The Nepali culture intertwined with eminent hospitality at the Basera Boutique Hotel. I highly recommend this as the first hotel of your stay in Kathmandu, as you recover from jetlag. Perfect for one night stay between flights. The airport shuttle picked me up at KTM when I flew in from Pokhara and sent me to KTM at 5am the next day. The staffs were very friendly. My room was very clean.
