"My wife and I stayed at the hotel for two nights and it was great. The woman at the front desk was very helpful! The breakfast in the morning was nice including fresh juice. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas or a short taxi ride for 5 soles. The only draw back was there was no heating or air conditioning in the room. The only ventilation we had was if we openned our doors to the balcony. The balcony was shared with 2 other rooms. While we were there no one else stayed...

Grande bâtisse coloniale à quelques pâtés de maison du centre historique. Le jardin est super agréable.
Un des meilleurs petits déjeuners de nos 2 mois au Pérou (jus frais qui change quotidiennement, œufs, olive, céréales, pain).
Mais le gros plus de cet hôtel c’est le personnel : tout le monde est d’une gentillesse incroyable

This is a beautiful property in a very old building, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very clean, very friendly, beautiful garden, good breakfast in Ma beautiful room decorated with artifacts found from excavations on site. My only complaint is the bed was very hard -- I've encountered this same bed
elsewhere in Peru so I think they all get their mattrresses from the same place! Would definately recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Our bus into Arequipa arrived 5 hours late and we didn't get in until 4:30am but they kindly welcomed us anyway. They also went out of their way to get soy milk for us. The location is close to the main square and the room was well decorated, clean, and comfortable.

We loved our six night stay at Katari. The rooms were comfortable with traditional furniture and lovely linens. The location on the Plaza de Armas can’t be beat. The views from the rooftop restaurant and bar are spectacular at all times of the day, but especially at sunset, with the lights on the cathedral coming up and the sun turning the snow capped volcanoes pink.
The only thing better are the staff, so kind, warm and responsive. Highly, highly recommend this place!
This is one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. The architecture is amazing. The design of the rooms is even better. The food is beyond belief. This hotel is gorgeous, super clean, and perfectly located. The beds, pillows, and linens are luxurious, providing a true 5-star experience during our 5-night stay. We enjoyed drinks on the rooftop with stunning views of Plaza del Armas, and the pizza was delicious! Highly recommended! Tip: If you use the laundry service, be sure to separate your darks from whites, as they wash everything together.
