"Amazing stay with excellent staff. ,10 out of 10 for location to Newmarket. We used ubers to get into town which were around $12 each way. Bed was a bit hard but overall one of the best stays in Auckland. Breakfast was included which was a bonus."

Fantastic boutique hotel! We came from Philadelphia, USA, and have already decided we will be traveling the 8,700 miles to stay at the Convent Hotel again.
The chapel room had a garden wall that made the room always smell like flowers. The staff were extremely kind, inclusive, and accommodating. The Ada restaurant had the best breakfast I’ve ever had, and the best dinners that we had in our 5 days in Auckland. Parking and internet are included, and it was a decent walking distance to great food...
Just a quick stop over for us. However it was so good and I actually said to my husband that I wish I was staying longer! We had one of the ground level rooms which had what I called “our own backyard” that our toddler was able to play around in so that he wasn’t stuck in the room. Breakfast buffet was nothing short of amazing and had heaps of variety, comfy beds (heaven honestly). Our room was super spacious which was an added bonus. They had a portacot for our toddler which was bonus as well....
don't let the name "motel," fool you! I stayed for one night and it was excellent!! Very nice staff that let me check in for free no questions asked, a very very very clean and well maintained room with full amenities included. Room looked like it belonged to an upscale hotel, absolutely loved it!!!!!!
Just one night - everything was great. Great view, great service, great room. Everything works in that hotel, fires on all cylinders.
Only negative was a bit of noise from the street later into the night.
We had a very good stay made better by customer service getting us a shower mat for my husband who has trouble walking. They upgraded us to a higher floor which had a fantastic view. Top notch!
The newest hotel of the three in the chain at Sky City. Absolutely beautiful hotel. We saved the best for last. Accommodations were outstanding. Front desk stored on luggage on the last day b/c we had a late flight. Even offered us to use the workout facility to shower before we left for the airport-a first for me. The Grill Restaurant at the hotel food and service gets a 5 star rating. Ir is now my place to stay in Auckland.
The decor is so artistic, and bold. it's like going to an art gallery, I found myself walking the hallway to admire it all. The cappuccino at the bar was delicious. Along with the breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer.
It was not made clear what in the Kitchenette was included and what was a charge. Did not make coffee or tea because of this. The sky bus to the airport stopped right outside the front door. This was very convenient. The view was great. Sky tower was changed to green for St Patrick’s Day weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Retro style decor which is refreshingly unique. Very close to the harbor, Maritime Museum, Queen's Wharf, and shopping. Only negative is lack of convenient spaces for suitcases.
