Hotel Mozart

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing place, with great hospitality from Ben the owner. What a lovely man. Managing expectations, if booking a single room, the small rooms are a little tight. And it is not a good place to stay if you are working. No table in the room. The owner was kind enough to let me work in the restaurant through the night, but it is not the same as doing emails etc in your underwear in privacy. Breakfast was an adjustment. Coffee is instant, and you get one croissant, one piece of bread and a slice of cheese. If like me you eat early and don’t have time to stop for lunch, this is not much of a breakfast. In summary, I will consider staying here if I was on holiday or a short break with my family, but this is not a good place for a work day room."

"Being just steps away from the Central station was a key feature because we traveled to many surrounding cities with the train. Right around the corner is a vast choice of restaurants souvenir shops and it's a few streets away from the city center Grand Place. It really was magnificent and we also had a few dinners at the hotel and though a little pricey it was very good. The breakfast buffet was excellent and it had everything a Canadian would eat for breakfast. We were on the 3rd floor and it was also a very quiet room."

"Overall, I had a good stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. The bed was great. The only issues were some hair on the bathroom walls and a few complimentary creamers and chips that were around two months expired. These are small things that could easily be addressed with a little more attention to cleaning and checking the room items."
