"On my way from Switzerland to St.Vincent for family matters. Perfect for a one-night stay. Had a dog along, hotel well located for usual morning and evening strolls.Was there in winter, facility was almost empty, I imagine summer would be different. Altogether a nice hotel!!! :-)"
"We stayed here, late September, for a couple of days walking around Aosta. Nice hotel with good amenities available. We'd booked breakfast, and it really was excellent value for what we paid. A real wide selection of continental options. We had a car, so access to Aosta itself was easy. Good parking available too. There did seem to be a regular bus service available. We found the initial reception when we first arrived to be slightly "frosty" - perhaps we're too sensitive; perhaps language...

Absolutely wonderful stay. I was mind blown by the kindness and enthusiasm when I arrived a few HOURS early… instead of receiving a typical annoyed response there was a warm heartfelt welcome and joyful notification that my room was ready. The receptionist also gave me a great explanation of things to do in the area along with 2 maps. The housekeeper‘s warmth made me feel like my mom was taking care of me. The man at the reception made my Birthday extra special. How do you hire people like...
I wish I would have known how gorgeous this property was before hand. We would have stayed longer. The hospitality was over the top. Breakfast was amazing. The attention to detail in every aspect of the stay was 5 + stars!
Perched a short drive above the town, this is a wonderful retreat from the busy town with great views in all directions. While we were driving, we opeted for a taxi into and back from restaurants at night in Aosta. Our last night we made a reservation at a restaurant within easy walking distance, further uphill from the resort.
Finally, the public areas are delightful, the breakfasts good and the decor incorporates so many historic rustic elements--almost museum like.

Air conditioning, TV, mini fridge, closet & hangers, and windows that open to the fresh mountain air.
We utilized the laundry service & our clothing came back perfectly laundered.
The breakfast, which is buffet style, had plenty of options. Very good!!
There's a nice sitting area & bar right inside the lobby, plus a small sitting area just beyond the front desk. We used both areas to do work on our laptops. Cozy and comfortable.
