I lost my glasses, and the staff immediately took upon themselves to offer to call places, where I might have lost them, and then proceeded to offer a solution by pointing out where I could easily get replacement glasses cheaply. Whilst not a luxury property, it was clean, wellmaintained and offered a lounge area for informal meetings and good breakfast services and a bar."

Great hotel, clean, well maintained and easy to access by car. A very good value for the rate charged. The rooms are a bit small but beds are comfortable and a good amount of storage areas available in the room. They did over book the night we were there, but they were able to provide the room types we requested.
Came for Octoberfest and found this hotel to be reasonably priced. Located further from the city center but the public transportation in Munich is top notch and we were only minutes to the nearest metro station with a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The location itself was in a more residential neighborhood so very quiet and peaceful. We stayed with our adult children at the Hotel Obermaier during Octoberfest. It was all that we had hoped for. It is a traditional hotel with a good restaurant attached. It is convenient by Metro to downtown Munich. It is much more reasonably priced than closer-in hotels. Our room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was unbelievably generous and delicious. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Obermaier if we are fortunate enough to return to Munich, particularly during Octoberfest.
Amazing restaurant with wonderful service. Breakfast buffet is well worth it and a great restaurant for dinner upon arrival. Rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. Great location in a beautiful area!

Great hotel, rooms so nice. Roof top bar was great and view was unbelievable. Service outstanding, didn’t hesitate to hold our bags or accommodate early check-in for tired travelers. We are a family with 3 kids and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Very walkable area.
