"From our arrival to our departure, Eric the host, could not have been more helpful. The property is easy to find at the end of a small lane with extensive grounds.
Eric had prepared a list of recommended restaurants in the area, which is helpful. The room was quiet and spacious. Breakfast was great, with everything being supplied by local producers, which is great to see.

We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs.
We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. Bill had also brought some snacks/breakfast for us.
The place was gorgeous, and very quiet, being in the middle of the countryside. It is located about 30 min drive from the scenic town...
Wonderful place to stay! Terrific value. The room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable, and the hosts were beyond pleasant, welcoming and attentive to our needs. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
This is a fun hotel. The staff is nice and helpful. There are laundry and ATM options within a easy walking distance. The location of this hotel is ideal for those interested in WW2 history.
Excellent wifi. Free parking just across the street. Exceptionally clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Very few restaurants nearby but there is a Carrefour not too far away (by car) and a farmer's market just out front (on Tuesday mornings). Overall, an excellent hotel.
The room was comfortable, the food at the hotel restaurant excellent, the staff first class, the scenery surrounding the hotel lovely. In summary, we had an excellent stay.
