Great receptionist nice location would stay again

Exceptionally clean property. My apartment was very modern and appeared brand new. 2 bedrooms, one queen one single, with living room and modern kitchen with dining table. Everything you would need for cooking and eating. The bathroom was nice with washer. The hotel also has a laundromat with dryers if needed. Exceptionally fine property about a 10 minute walk to Old Town center. Try to go to the Baltic philharmonic if you are there for one of their season’s performances. It too is close by....

Clean, friendly, great breakfast

Shower was very tight and we are 5ft 4" @ 145lbs and 5ft 9in at 200lbs. Our really only complaint

I will be back here every time we come to Gdansk. The room was beautifully decorated, well designed, had everything you could want. We stayed in a suite in the oldest part of the building with a skeleton key to open the door! Original wood, beautiful plaster details, comfortable bed. The sauna is free to guests and is spacious and never crowded. Their breakfast is amazing and the service was really tailored. About a 15 minute walk to old town.

Good hotel, location is 5 minutes from the entrance to city centre. Convenient and near all the major sights.

Location, location, location ... right in the heart of Old town Gdansk, near every imaginable type of restaurant, within walking distance of every amazing cite. Oh, an a helpful, pleasant and charming staff. Breakfast was great!!

The property is overall excellent. However housekeeping is in consistent. Beds were not made up nicely and with a 5 night stay, it would have been to have fresh sheets once. Soap dispensers not kept full - but most hotels fail at this. Room and shower were great. Location was good with fantastic views of the old city. No regrets staying here, but the hotel does need to tighten up housekeeping.

Beautiful view, convenient to the waterfront, nice staff, good food

This is an attractive and well located property on the river. Our room was small but fine for a short stay. The lines to seek check-in or out could be long. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again although I’m a Hilton Honors status person. Was staying here because family was here.

The location was excellent. The room is very spacious, modern, and welcoming. The staff member was very caring, allowing us to check in early since we told the service agent that we just arrived from an all-night bus ride. We appreciated that very much.

This is an absolutely incredible hotel. It is very nice and modern. It is in a great location. The staff is very nice and helpful. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Gdansk. My only comment to people considering this hotel is that there are four rooms on the fourth floor and the elevator only goes to the third floor.

We loved our stay in Gdansk at the Podewils. It is slightly out of the main historic district, and hence very quiet, although the main district is available with a 5 minute walk. The staff and ownership of the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and eager to help in all ways. The breakfast was excellent, with cooked eggs and bacon available in addition to a complete buffet. This is a classically styled hotel in an older building. If you are looking for classicism, character and romance,...

It was a very enjoyable stay. The staff was nice and the hotel was very clean. We really like the phone charger on the nightstand

Parking was an issue and FreeNow driver had hard time finding the hotel. I ended up leaving my car in another area of town and used taxi to get in. Otherwise an excellent hotel and the location couldn't be any more central to the old town. You literally walk out to the center. Also, our room was quiet and very comfortable.

Great location, and a beautiful lobby bar with excellent staff and selection.
