"A good example of a Spanish 2* hotel. Well located near the old town but with their own, limited, car park which made things easy. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly the young lady on reception when we arrived. Breakfast in the adjoining cafeteria was very good and again the staff were exceptional."
"We loved staying at the Maroa! The location was perfect. Close enough to walk to everything but not in a too touristy location. We had a doublebed room on the 6th floor with a balcony (there are only a few balcony rooms but so great if you book one.) We loved being able to see the water and to hear the seagulls. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the staff in the cafe when we had our morning coffee and croissant. Rooms we spacious and clean. Easy to walk to grocery store and dinner.

Imagine a perfect casual hotel right by the beach: this is it. The staff (Dianna) was immensely helpful and pleasant. The hotel serves and outstanding breakfast and a good choice of beverages (wine, beer, soft drinks) throughout the day. Convenient walking distance from the old town and harbor.

This property is beautiful very very well maintained. Staff very helpful. We never eat at the hotel & we dined at the Italian restaurant service was wonderful as well as the food. It is very quiet bed very comfortable as were the pillows. If you want a gorgeous view, beautiful setting great staff stay here!!!! Loved our stay will be back!
We stayed while walking the Camino. The hotel is very close to Combarro. Manuel was our host. The hotel was beautiful in a way that was thoughtful with every bit of attention to detail. The pool wasn't open yet as we traveled in May, but it looked lovely. We speak no Spanish and Manuel, no English. That didn't matter. He offered to help us with transportation into Combarro and also the next day to our destination.

Everything about this hotel was great, the ambiance, the room and staff were great. The restaurant is a must, the food was beyond great. Also this hotel has a GREAT location, definitely coming back.
