I had booked a hostel and could no longer take sharing a room. Hostel single rooms are the same as a nice room in a hotel. Hotel Diana was a breath of fresh air. Arrived around 10am, check-in was at 2pm. They accommodated me and I was in my room by 11am. Came with a bottle of wine (okay because it was free) for VIP members. The apartment was clean, quiet, and spacious. The location is very convenient, with many nearby restaurants, and grocery stores, and a quick 10 minute walk to the South Bank parklands, 25 minutes walk to downtown. The area felt very safe, and we enjoyed using the pool and BBQ area amenities. The only thing to note is that there are limited supplies provided (enough for 2 dishwasher and 2 laundry loads) and no basics such as oil, salt, or pepper, so if you're booking for a longer stay or planning...

The hotel is very nice. I specifically booked this hotel because it stated on the booking website that it had an airport shuttle; highlighting this as "a rare find". Very disappointed to find on our arrival that it did not have a shuttle and cost an additional $80 in transport fees. Our room was a fabulous king suite with balcony views. The location was excellent. We stayed just one night before flying out the next morning so we did not have time to enjoy the hotel as much as we'd like.
