"We stayed two nights at this hotel, mainly because of its proximity to the airport. It was a basic no-frills place; not as posh looking as the website implied. Everything worked very well. The shower was good, bed was comfortable, TV worked fine and the mini-kitchen was well-appointed. The staff were helpful. It was super convenient to the airport and to the train into the city. No real complaints. It’s quite spread out, and finding our rooms at 1 am was a bit challenging. I’d definitely stay...

"Lovely spacious self contained accommodation at rear of main house. Great breakfast supplied and use of BBQ area is a bonus..Guest access is via level footpath at side of house. Host is so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again. Parking is on the street. 5 stars. "

"I’ll be honest — based on the street frontage, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but first impressions can be deceiving.
The accommodation is excellent. The rooms are large, clean, and well presented, and the area is quiet and feels very safe. It’s also very reasonably priced, which makes it even better value.
I would definitely recommend it for anyone heading to Champion Lakes for rowing — just note that a car is required for convenience.

"Good size comfortable room but dated. The only problem was the walls are too thin. I could here the TV from both adjacent rooms, one was at 3.00am so it was hard to sleep. For that reason, I won't stay there again."

An amazing place to stay where you can rest and feel relaxed and refreshed listening and seeing all the bird life from the luxury of your balcony. The staff is amazing and friendly. Attending to all your needs. Highly recommended
The room was very comfortable and quiet just what I needed after arriving near midnight at the airport David was very accommodating to make sure I had everything I needed
I honestly have no issues with this place minus the cell reception and wifi issues. But that was the least of my worries. The place was clean and quiet. Simple, exactly what i needed for two nights in the country. Id stay here again in a heartbeat.
Staff are the stand out here, so helpful and 24 hr reception. Bus shuttle from/to airport worked well. While rooms are a bit dated, but very well maintained and clean. Nice pool area.
