This is a beautiful, modern, clean, new facility. The rooms were impeccable. Plenty of hot water and fast responsive wireless internet. The food from the restaurant was above average. The morning breakfast buffet was better than you get at most American hotels. The staff was super friendly, accommodating, and just a wonderful example of the type of people I always meet in Kenya. Beautiful eco camp with great amenities! The food at the restaurant was great and prices were fair. It’s also a good environment for meeting other travelers, ie at meals or by the pool. I will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Nairobi!
We scheduled to have a car pick us up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. My wife and I were picked up by a very friendly employee (Antony) who introduced us to his city and taught us about the area during the drive. There was quite a bit of traffic at the time we landed, so the drive to the hotel took almost an hour.

We had a 4 bedroom apartment with 3 bathrooms...it was clean and beautiful. The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful, they took very good care of us. The hotel is attached to a mall, which was very convenient, and one day they had a local 'market' off the food court with several vendors, which made shopping for souvenirs easier. We enjoyed our stay at Yaya Hotel and would stay here again.
A gorgeous, comfortable, perfectly situated hotel. Wonderful and friendly staff with amazing service. Restaurants on-site if you don’t feel like heading out but easy to get other restaurants if you do. The staff made sure we were well taken care of. Loved staying here and would absolutely stay again. It was my second time staying at the Sankara within a year. I wish I could have stayed longer. The staff are very friendly and attentive, the food is good, the hotel is located in a very nice area with a lot of shops close by. I would recommend Sankara to anyone!
My wife and l stayed at the Woodmere Throughout the month of June 2023. Previously, l had done online checking of other properties in Nairobi. This hotel is very clean, modern, spacious rooms, and the gym is great as well. The staff is amazingly friendly, my flight was delayed multiple times but the hotel always responded and had someone waiting for me at the airport.
I almost didnt book with this facility, based on reviews I had read. I am so glad that I ignored the haters. Compared to my experience, their negative comments are unfounded.
Clean hotel, very quiet area away from busy areas, close to a mall and lot of restaurants with short uber drive. Very friendly staff, good food, clean spacious rooms. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment suite , spacious and great value for money. No a/c, has a pedestal fan, very comfortable sleep. My only concern is our bed, probably needs replacing. There is construction for expansion outside, but did not have any negative effects on our stay! Highly recommend !
