Hotels in Downtown Beijing

A nice and well located room for trip.

There is a lot of competition for hotels in Beijing. This one lives up to its status as a luxury hotel. The decor is spectacular, filled with lacquer, silk, and original artwork. The staff is incredibly professional. I did have a problem with the wifi and the staff went out of their way to solve the problem. And the location is really good, not far from historical/cultural sites, restaurants, and a metro stop.

If you want to treat yourself and sleep in luxury stay here. This is one of the best hotels in the area. Access to stores is unmatched. The rooms are spectacular and worth every penny.

Location is great. Walking distances to breakfast, shopping and more. However, we were disappointed on cleanliness for the room. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. however, we saw blood stain in bathtub, and it were there all 3 nights we stayed..

In general is good just the area is too commercial and difficult to find local food

I had a ton of fun at this property. I did not have as much time to utilize all the amenities, but what I loved the most was the robot that delivers your takeaway food! And it’s about a 30 min drive to the forbidden city which was nice, as well as an hour drive to one of the Great Wall locations. The only thing I would say that needed a bit of improvement, would be the shower, as I think it could use a little bit of extra scrubbing. Super cute & clean location, with a bar and ice cream spot within walking distance. In the heart- downtown- of Beijing. Lots of shops/ restaurants nearby. Staff is superb! Not only did they order DD Aka Ubers for us, but they even walked us to meet our DD drivers, helped us get around on the subway and when we couldn't communicate, would happily get their Chinese to English translator out. They even checked in with us via WhatsAPP to make sure my girls and I made it to our DD after a wild night...

Wonderful hotel! We stayed in room 1525 and it was beautiful and clean. I’m very particular about hotels and this met my standards. It was refreshing to go out and explore during the day and then return to such a lovely room. Staff were very helpful. Not everyone spoke English fluently but it was easy enough to communicate. The location of this hotel is the best and the room is excellent

The hotel location is amazing. Walkable to historic landmarks, restaurants, cafes, the metro, bus stop, and the central tourist bus terminal. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice, modern, clean. They offered breakfast everyday. The have laundry facilities and free ice cream. :) Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing!

I wasn't able to connect to my corporate VPN via hotel wifi due to extremely slow speed. But other than that, the hotel is a great deal for the amount of money I paid. Very happy overall.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in Beijing for a 10 days family vacation. I took a chance and booked us a location that was off the touristy spot where all the big hotels were - so glad I did - VUE is a hidden gem. We took to walking around the Hutong neighborhoods right away, my father loved his morning walks in Houhai Park which was right behind the hotel. I was in China for 10 days. 8 of those days/nights I spent at this gem. There may be other cheaper hotels and Holiday Inns in Beijing with more bells and whistles, but if you are a first time visitor to this wonderful city, this is the place to stay. We were warmly greeted on arrival. The property is beautiful and clean and all the staff were gracious hosts. The hotel is located in a hutong so not able to get dropped off or picked up in front of the property but only a short walk to the cross street. The complimentary breakfast had many hold and cold options and had staple Beijing breakfast items. They served afternoon tea but did not partake in that.
