The hotel is a bit secluded but it is good since the property is quiet. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. I was pretty pleased about the property everything is really beautiful and well keep. The food is also delicious. A bit expensive but i really loved it. The food the buffet is average but the have some western options which are OK. The bad: Unless you speak Chinese you are pretty much out of luck. The staff English is almost non-existent. The check in was slow, money exchange was slow...

1. I had booked the trip on hotels.com and was promised a room with an ocean view. This was clearly stated on the confirmation. 2. However, when we got there, we were given an older room on the far end with only a view of a mosquito infested pond. 3. I was allowed a room change to the agreed type of room on threatening to move out. 4. After the room change, everything else was great, the service, the food and the facilities. 5. Had an excellent and romantic stay.

Good location, reasonable price, clean room, good breakfast and nice service.

Great choice for rest & relaxation. Secluded & private. Good selection of food & wine. Service is awesome. Not enough beach chairs on sand for hotel of this size. Also, beach is very rocky compared to rest of Sanya.

Nice family vacation resort

Being a very difficult guest and a 100+ day a year Shangri la Hotel client and since the shangri a was sold out i had to book a different hotel for my short 2 days stay and i can tell you what a Gem. We had a fantastic time at the Ritz in Sanya. It was such an easy getaway from Hong Kong. We wnjoyed every aspect of our stay. First, the staff is super attentive. Sanya, China was the last of our four country, Asia vacation. Grand Fortune Bay Hotel was impressive, every bit 5-star. Room was grand and spacious. We had a tub in the balcony and used twice. We really enjoyed our stay at Hilton Sanya Yalong Bay. The staff were attentive and helpful, we enjoyed the on-site restaurants, and the proximity to the beach was convenient.
