We had a wonderful stay at the Orchid House. It is in a beautiful location in Polanco and it is very close to the Museum of Anthropology as well as to a beautiful shopping area on President Maseryk Ave. We selected this place because we were a party of three and this was one of very few places that allowed more than two guests in a room with two queen size beds. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated as was the rest of the hotel. Our room could have used a small desk. The bathroom was large but as seniors we found the bathtub difficult to get in and out of easily. The hotel restaurant, Aura, was lovely and had good service and food. It is in a courtyard setting so it can be chilly depending on the weather. One other suggestion is for better lighting in the sitting room across from the front desk for reading purposes. All in all our stay was great and would definitely recommend it.

Centrally located in beautiful Polanco, walking distance from many attractions, cafes, parcs. Staff was welcoming and kind, rooms are clean and comfortable, the hotel is in a beautifully restored ancient mansion, with terrace and as its name says is, an abundance of colourful orchids.
