The hotel room was quite small, but the location was excellent and very convenient. The area around the hotel is lively, with plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés, and places to eat within walking distance. It took only about 7–8 minutes to walk from the hotel to the 100E Airport Express bus stop near Deák Ferenc Square. The airport bus runs approximately every 15 minutes, and at the bus stop showing the timetable and the arrival time of the next bus. You can buy your ticket directly on the bus, and a one-way ticket costs about £6 (or the local equivalent). The journey between the airport and the city center takes around 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
One of the best things about this hotel was the complimentary refreshments. Every day from 2:00 p.m. until around 9:00–10:00 p.m., guests could enjoy free soft drinks, cold water, coffee, fresh fruit, and pastries. This was a wonderful extra that made the stay even more enjoyable. Although the room was small, the excellent location, easy airport access, and thoughtful complimentary snacks and drinks made this hotel a great value overall.
Another nice touch was the comfortable lounge area on the ground floor. If you have some time before heading to the airport and don’t want to go out in the heat, you can simply relax there, enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee, have some fresh fruit or pastries, and wait comfortably until it’s time to leave. It was a very convenient and thoughtful space for guests.
