Overall, a nice hotel under the Marriott brand. Comfortable room, but slightly dated, can do with some technology upgrades. Loved the housekeeping team, but the front desk wasn’t as friendly on the few occasions when I called. The corridor area started smelling of rotting durians on my last 3 days of stay. Was disposed that the hotel actually allowed the fruits in the room.

My two night stay was wonderful from start to finish. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself feels quite luxurious. The lobby and hallways are grand and elegant, and even the elevators have a refined, high-end feel. It definitely gives the impression of a classic upscale hotel. The room was very spacious, much larger than I expected. It had a large, comfortable bed, a generous sitting area, and even a bar table. The bathroom was huge as well, with a separate shower and an oversized bathtub, which made the room feel even more relaxing and comfortable. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Guangzhou.
