Great location. Family friendly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Long walk to the toilet block unless you walk over waterlogged grass. Toilet block clean but could do with some updating. No mirror in the cabin. Mattress on the bunk bed so thin you could feel each slat through all the blankets and the mattress.

Stayed in a cabin which was extremely clean and spacious with everything you would need for a stay of a few days. The river walk path into town is literally a few feet away. Quiet, safe, and convenient location. Will be near the top of the list for future trips to Whakatane.

Very clean , well equipped ,actually it was a last minute booking and I really was impressed. I was driving a left hand drive car and had to jump out to punch in the numbers for the gate , bit worrying but it gave me plenty of time.
