We loved our stay at the Mary Todd Lincoln House (the Pink House or Casa Rosada)! We were there for a family destination wedding and wanted to stay somewhere comfortable, with lots of space and character. The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything. There were 2 large bedrooms with full bathrooms attached and a huge living room with tv and another full bathroom. The kitchen was very large with everything we needed to make the stay complete. We loved the homey front porch and the back courtyard with a "watering hole" to watch the stars or soak up the rays. The communication with staff was quick and helpful. I'm glad there was time for us to "shop Marfa". It was convenient and fun. We parked right out in front of the house, and it was easy and safe. I would go back to the Lincoln Marfa again if I were headed in that direction. Great place to stay!

I stayed in Room #5. It was a very nice room as well as comfortable. We visited Marfa for the Marfa Lights Festival. These rooms at Lincoln are right in the heart of the event. Maybe too close because the stage music started at 8:00am. So we couldn’t sleep in. Regardless the property is situated with walking distance to several coffee shops and restaurants. The only issue I found with room #5 was the shower head. There was plenty of hot water but the stream of water coming out of the shower head was like standing under a water hose. Bathtub needs a new shower head. The only disappointment I had was the town of Marfa. The Lincoln property is great, don’t get me wrong. However the town has changed so much. I lived in Marfa from 1992 to 1999 and the town has unfortunately changed for the worse. So if you have to visit Marfa I highly recommend the Lincoln property.

Perfect for what we needed - a couples trip with a dog, 2 rooms and 1 bathroom. Open floor plan great for sports or tv watching, games, and cute design quirks all around! Hosts were there if you needed them, but we did not need to contact them for anything - check in and out was a breeze.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The Lincoln is located in the heart of Marfa and is great home-base for trips to the McDonald Observatory and Big Bend. Very cute apartment rental that was equipped with everything we needed. Super location to downtown where several sites and stores were located. Walked to many of them. Dog friendly and I could tell the owners put a lot of thought into decorating. Loved the old radio playing when we checked in.

Great location in the heart of Marfa. Our stay was nice and relaxing. The unit wasn't so much of a room as it was a small apartment. There are very few places to eat during the week or past sunset, so the full kitchen with dining area worked perfect for us. I spent many hours sitting out on the patio drawing, reading, and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. We'll definitely be back to the Lincoln Marfa!

You’ll Wish You’d Stayed Here

The Lincoln Marfa is wonderfully accommodating. They’ve thought of the comforts of a French press, refrigerators in rooms, and amenities which make the stay feel like home. The professionalism of their management team is also above reproach. One thousand percent recommend.
