The hotel was beautiful maintained and a very convenient location. We stayed in a newly renovated room which was quite modern and clean with excellent spaces for clothes and toiletries which I appreciated! Our room didn’t have a view, it looked onto another building which I was a bit disappointed about. The breakfast was average, too many sweet dessert choices for my taste, but there were eggs and and a nice yogurt bar. The pool area looks nicer in the pictures than it does in person but the pool itself was nice and refreshing. They could have furnished the pool area nicer considering the area we were in! The staff were helpful and friendly, hotel was very convenient with lots of parking and it was very clean.

Wonderful boutique hotel with pool and good AC

This was ou first stay but will not be our last. Wonderful reception and service throughout including breakfast and dinner. The pool is a great dip after a day in Pienza. Covered parking was a good bonus and near laundry and small coop market. AC in family suite was excellent.

We are so happy to be guests at San Gregorio. Very nice and comfortable hotel, offers much more than expected. The best thing was the art that the hotel is full of, every corner carefully planned. Walking to your room gives you the feeling of being in a museum A real gem in the middle of Pienza/Toscany.

We enjoyed our stay here. They turn the air conditioning off in the rooms after the end of September so although it was quite hot in our rooms, we didn’t have the option of turning the air on. We asked for fans and they brought us two which was helpful. The breakfast wasn’t the greatest but the overall cleanliness of the hotel and how it looks is really beautiful. It’s also very central to everything and walking distance to the little town if you want to explore.

The hotel is in an excellent location being only a short walk from the city walls. The parking is close by and secure. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was superb The room however did not live up to expectation. It was a classic double, was very austere with no paintings on the bare walls and generally very tired. Needs a complete refit. Sad because otherwise a good stay

The hotel was nice. The woman at the front desk who spoke English was very unfriendly. Seemed very annoyed if we asked questions. We opted to parking in their garage and the woman was pointing right while telling my husband to drive left. She was getting angry that he didn’t know if he should go right or left. Perhaps she needs a refresher course in English in the difference between left and right. Dining and cleaning staff were very nice. Overall the front desk staff was not friendly, except for the lady with white hair.

This hotel was the highlight of our Tuscany trip. It is very well decorated, stunning italian furniture and arts on the wall. There is a restaurant for dining. About 2 minutes walking from Pienza old town entrance. Staff was super nice, even their mascot, an yellow cat, came to greet us. It is a must come back for us.
