Haley Hotel is a charming idiosyncratic place that is a refreshing change from chain hotels. Its decor is all based on a nautical theme and the courtyard is abundant with flowers. Bed was very comfortable. The front staff were charming and helpful, a welcome change from some imperious and officious front desk staffers I have occasionally encountered. Excellent location if you enjoy walking, to downtown State street restaurants and theaters.

Very cool vibe here. Staff was great. Disappointed that there was no closet, no dresser drawers, no room to put toiletries, no table or a chair. Made it hard to feel comfortable with our stuff staying in their suitcases. It was a wheelchair accesable room which we didnt need. I dont know if i checked that box on accident? But even with all of that, it was a nice place, within walking distance to everywhere that you want to go! Toiletries provided, smelled so good, I bought some body wash to bring home.

First day we got there we noticed that all the windows were open, which is strange because I’ve been to tons of hotels that are usually locked. I closed the windows and turned the “AC” on and went on with our night. When we got back to the hotel it was SUPER hot inside. Went to check the thermostat and it was on but the AC was not blowing any air. I went downstairs to let the staff know of the situation and he offered to raise the thermostat in my room and I told him I had already done. He then he went on to tell me that THE AC IN MY ROOM HASNT BEEN WORKING. My gf and I had to sleep with the windows open. With all that noise until 2-3am. Worst experience ever!

The Haley Hotel is in a great location and very cute downstairs. We loved being able to walk a block up to have dinner, shop and enjoy the beach. This trip was a girls trip with 3 adults, we had the family room with the bunk beds that was perfect for our group. The only thing is you can hear everything from the other rooms. The parking is the lot adjacent to the hotel. I would return despite the noise.
