Augusta Residence Serviced Apartments

I have mixed feelings about this apartment. Modern, a great size and the location is perfect, with so much close by. However, when we arrived at 11pm at night to do our self check-in, there was no room key left for us. We called the out of hours number and the owners were helpful and apologetic but still it was disappointing as it was meant to be an easy self check-in. All in all it took about 45mins to sort out before we were in our room feeling extremely tired. The owners offered a free transfer back to the airport for the inconvenience but considering an Uber only cost us 9 euros from the airport, I'm not sure that cancels it out. Through my own mistake at the time of booking I booked 2 nights instead of 3 but I quickly realised so booked the 3rd night straight away and emailed the owners to confirm we could stay in the same room, which they did. However on the second day the cleaner came round to say that we should have vacated the room and passed me her phone to speak to the owner to whom I explained the situation and was told that they needed to double check this. I then followed up to the email where they'd confirmed that we could stay in the same room and was told there was a mistake on their system and all was fine. Not a big deal, just annoying after we'd had they key issue and it was my brothers birthday. Worth noting there is a strong sewage smell in the lobby and one of the bedrooms. They do leave a bottle of wine in the fridge which is a nice touch!

Amazing location with great amenities. Everything we could have asked for was provided. The Nespresso machine with many pods was very appreciated. The sound proofing for such a busy street was fantastic.

Excellent! I don’t usually leave reviews, however I was very very impressed with this apartment and it’s host. The apartment is located in possibly the best location you could get. Very spacious and clean, modern and has great views. The host are always available and responsive to any issues or queries you have. Cleaners are friendly. All in all, I recommend this place to all! I generally stay in the top hotels of each destination I visit, so I should hope my review takes some credibility over others!
