We stayed here one of the nine nights we spent in Spain and this was by far our favourite. Javier and his family really put this place head and shoulders above the rest with the way they treated us. From the warm greeting through to the SUPER EARLY breakfast they made us because we were up early to start a hike, this stay was a 5/5. Can’t wait to come back and stay for more than a night!

Everything was very good. The room was clean. The breakfast was very good with generous portions. The gentleman who checked me in spoke English very well and gave me several suggestions on places to visit which I did visit and enjoyed. The room was quite spacious with a balcony and the countryside views were very nice. It had a good parking lot and was a quiet location but quite close to the main highway. I highly recommend.

We really loved our stay at Posada Lunada. Javier is a great host. He welcomed us with a friendy smile and took the time to give us information about the best sites to visit in Cantabria, that he knows very well. We enjoyed the delicious home made breakfast. Thw orange juice was the best. Beautiful Posada, incredible view of the countryside from our window. The room is modern and the bed is very confortable. We hope to have the chance to stay there again.

What a beautiful hotel & superb location. But that is not the best thing which is Javier, mine host, who was simply brilliant. Fantastic local knowledge & always willing to spend time sharing it & helping where possible. Maps, advice, loan of equipment - he has it all covered. Lovely continental breakfast on the terrace. Rooms immaculate & daily cleaning. Bedroom views to die for. Nothing but praise for a superb stay

One kilometer from the Posada Lunada there is a small pothole in the road. That is how far one most go to find something negative to say about this very, very nice posada. Javier was at his usual best during this visit fussing over 1st time guest but also making sure returnees received the warm welcome they always get. Fabulous breakfasts on the warm terrace, beautiful surroundings & that attention to details that Javier provides. A little on the warm side this visit, but a fan suddenly appeared in the room which helped but AC would have been nicer & the room we had was a little smaller than we are used to but as usual the bed was comfortable & the in-room TV handy for our own Firestick. All in all a joy - as usual
