The property itself was excellent. The room was large and clean. The breakfast was generous. The restaurant was varied and reasonably priced. They kindly agreed to keep our suitcases while we were gone on safari for a few days.
However the VERY VERY LOUD BAR NEXT DOOR THAT PLAYED MUSIC VERY VERY LOUD FROM 10PM TILL 4AM RUINED OUR STAY. It was IMPOSSIBLE to sleep. Other guests shared the same view as we did. Upon our return from our safari, we insisted that our safari tour organizer change hotels.
When we questioned the hotel reception regarding the source of the music, or whether is was repeated every night (it was, of the 3 nights we stayed there), they were very unhelpful. A little acknowledgment of the problem, and an attempt to at least change our room would have gone a long way. Overall, they were very unhelpful.
