Excellent place for a touring break

Hotel really pleasant. Clean, tidy and recently done up. Shower room well above usual standard of similar hotels i have stayed in. Good breakfast with lots of variety. The team were very attentive. 10 % discount at next door pizzeria welcome extra. Well placed in centre of village wirh easy access to lots of great places to visit.

The internet did not work in our room on the top floor. The building smelled a bit strange (maybe from past floods). Our room was supposed to have a „garden view with tower“, but the window overlooked garbage in a backyard. We were kindly offered different rooms at no extra cost, but we wanted to stay together in the family room (there were no other family rooms available). There was a low hanging antler chandelier which caused a gash on my brother-in-law‘s head. We asked for two extra pillows at reception, and were told someone would bring them. The pillows never arrived, and we couldn’t reach anyone at reception to remind them. The shower nearly overflowed so we didn’t all shower. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was nicely prepared and had good variety. An improvement suggestion: stick with the traditional decorations. Our room was decorated nicely, if one ignored the skateboard coat rack and red chairs. The stairwell contained incongruous pastel Easter decorations (it is June). The triangles painted on the walls look like they’re from the 80s. The breakfast area was pretty, but the next room was used partially for storage. I would recommend storing things out of sight. We enjoyed the pool table. The staff were friendly. As stated in the description, there is no convenient parking and no elevator.

This hotel is poor at best. We had a family room which was large and clean. However, the double bed had broken slats and was very uncomfortable. The smell from the bathroom was awful with FIVE plugin air fresheners attempting to mask it! The view is of some rubbish - which smells in the warmer weather. There is no air conditioning but a fan in each bedroom. The roof space is directly above the room at has no door. The breakfast was weird. 1 coffee pot, no warm food. Everything was clearly being held at its minimum viable level. The room next door has a pool table and what looks like someone’s lounge, full of junk. The hotel run the bar/restaurant across the square. Which serves good beer and crepes.

Amazing and welcoming hotel in charming town

This is one of the nicer hotels we've ever stayed in. The room was great, and had an amazing view. Everything was spotless clean and very well maintained. But - the thing that really makes the difference is the charm and warmth of the Italian couple who run it. They certainly know how to make the guests feel welcome, which is what makes a hotel stand out. The breakfast buffet was very nicely presented, and included some extra little surprises. The charming little town, was also a nice break from the more touristy villages further down the river. We already are looking forward to coming back to this fabulous hotel.

Ett gammalt charmigt hotell med läge mitt i den också charmiga byn. Tyvärr inget wi-fi på rummet, endast på bottenvåningen. Kylskåpet och TV fungerade ej heller. Vi påtalade detta så de fungerar säkert till nästa gäster. Frukosten var bra! Inga problem med att hitta P-plats. Direkt utanför fanns flera restauranger där Rest. Adria blev vår favorit. De var mycket hjälpsamma och tillmötesgående!

Slitet och gammalt! Brödet till frukosten var mögligt, som tur var var den gratis. Alldeles för dyrt jämfört med vad man fick. Sen hade vi otur som va där en tisdag då hela byn är stängd förutom pizzerian som hörde ihop med hotellet och maten va ungefär som hotellet… Trevliga killar som driver det men det hjälpte inte riktigt

Nos surpreendeu, foram muito atenciosos e prestativos, funcionários 100% e o café da manhã estava muito bom, muito bem servido e muitas opções. Apesar de ser um dia incomum, com 34graus, o quarto mesmo com ventilador estava muito agradável.
