Friendly staff, lovely rooms and shared spaces

Walk from bus stop is tough in the heat (and herding a toddler along) but hostel was great. Clean, comfortable rooms. We were initially placed in wrong type of room but manager quickly and kindly corrected the error and even upgraded us to a nicer room. Easy bus ride to charming town of Svaneke or to local beaches at Balka and Dueodde.

Fint hostel, vi havde bestilt luxus værelse, men det lå lige ved fælleskøkken. Så vi bad om andet værelse og kunne få familie værelse med bad på gangen. Bad var lige udenfor vores dør og meget roligt værelse. Tak til værten for løsningen, men det var ikke luxus. Morgenmaden var rigtig god og fantastiske boller.

Smidig incheckning, utmärkt rum men störande trafik på morgonen när fönstret är öppet (nödvändigt), bra kök med funktionell egen rumsindelning i kyl och kök, masser av rena kökshanddukar och disktrasor. Man måste gå upp för en spiralformad ståltrappe för at komma till våningen, vilket är lite jobbigt när man har lite gångbesvär. Som helhet var vi absolut nöjda med vårt 3 dagars besök.

Vi har vandret hele øen rundt og dette er klart det bedste vandrehjem på hele Bornholm, hvis man spørger os. Lækkert, rent og hyggeligt. Vi havde eget værelse med et stort badeværelse lige overfor. Luksus. Der var tænkt på så mange små detaljer, der gjorde opholdet ekstra lækkert, også selvom vi ikke gjorde brug af det hele. F.eks. mulighed for fodbad inkl. det der skulle i vandet (så betænksomt), mulighed for at låne føntørrer, et udvalg af drikkevarer og snacks man kunne købe (ekstra dejligt når man har vandret hele dagen), små hyggelige sidde arrangementer udenfor…… meget velholdt. Køkkenet var også utrolig rent og en pæn størrelse med alt man skulle bruge. Vi tilkøbte morgenmaden som hel klart kan anbefales. Selvom vi ikke havde bestille ved booking var det ikke et problem. Vi kan kun give vores bedste anbefalinger til stedet og dem der driver det. Tak herfra os begge, Keith og Birte.

Vi bodde i familjerum med eget kök. Bra storlek på rummet och lätt att checka in. Det som var lite minus var att golvet i rummet inte kändes riktigt städat och att vi inte fann några instruktioner på rummet var vi skulle slänga sopor och återvinning. Jättetrevlig och hjälpsam personal i receptionen när den var öppen.

Værelset var rent og pænt. Gode senge og fred og ro. Det var lidt bøvlet at få styr på hvor vi kunne parkere vores cykler, men en utrolig hjælpsom dame på deres vagt telefon hjalp os igennem. Morgenmaden var okay, så alt i alt var vi ganske godt tilfredse med vores overnatning.
