Great location in the old town. Near enough to things, but yet set a street back from the busy tourist shops and restaurants which is nice. The place is pretty tidy with a lovely courtyard, but don’t expect immaculately clean. The room was spartan, but adequate.

Quiet stay in the Old town

Good basic rooms in the Old town. Had everything we needed including bathroom amenities and tea and coffee making facilities. Not sure if this is mentioned on the website. Perfect for our 3 night stay. One thing to note, the road leading up to the hotel is made up of cobblestones, as are many in the old town. Not great for wheelie suitcases. 7 minute walk from Kolona gate through a busy area.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel location was perfect walking distance from the port and very close to the centre of the old town, being situated along a narrow back street it was quiet (except for the occasional scooter going past on the cobbled road). The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was very compact with a very small shower.

This is a really great family run hotel. I recommend it highly. The beds were very comfortable, there was a good hot water supply and, although it’s close to the center of the walled city it was astonishingly quiet at night. Breakfasts were great and the owners and staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I wish the hotel gave instructions as to where to have the taxi drop us off. Taxis are not allowed inside Old Town. Hotel could have said to get us dropped off at the entrance across the port. Old Town is big. We were dropped off on the other entrance which was very far from the hotel. We had to walk very far.

Un séjour pratique et un service au top Très bonne situation, à proximité des principaux sites d’intérêt, ce qui permet de profiter facilement de la ville et de ses alentours. La chambre est simple, mais le service est vraiment au top et l’accueil très agréable. Mention spéciale pour la possibilité de laisser nos valises pendant 2 jours, le temps de notre excursion à Symi. Un vrai plus qui nous a bien facilité la vie ! Une petite remarque toutefois : nous avons vu une dame courageuse qui repassait dans une petite pièce sans fenêtre, avec une forte odeur d’humidité, et qui semblait également y vivre. Une situation qui, en France, serait difficilement acceptable. En Grèce, les réalités et les conditions de travail peuvent être différentes, mais cela reste malgré tout assez interpellant. Dans l’ensemble, une bonne expérience, surtout pour l’emplacement, la gentillesse du service et la flexibilité. 🇬🇷

Die Unterkunft ist ein familiengeführtes Gästehaus. Das Team bzw. die Tochter (Chefin) ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück lässt sich vor Ort spontan abends dazubuchen. Man bestellt aus einer kleinen Auswahl für den nächsten Tag. Die Unterkunft liegt super in der Altstadt, jedoch weit genug weg vom Epizentrum. Dadurch ist es meist sehr ruhig. Man kommt zu Fuß überall in der Stadt gut von dort hin. Der Shuttleservice holt einen ca. 5-10 Minuten entfernt ab, da man nicht in die Altstadt fahren darf. Die Klimaanlage hat zum Glück super funktioniert, da trotz eines leichten Durchzugs bei offenem Fenster tagsüber die Luft sehr warm ist und steht. Zu bemängeln wäre, bzw. als Information ergänzend: 1 Person im Zweibettzimmer war gut, zu zweit wäre es schon eng im recht kleinen Zimmer gewesen. Ein Bett war sehr weich, das andere etwas durchgelegen. Wäre zu zweit schwierig gewesen das durchgelegene Bett. Das sollte man beachten bei der Buchung. Die Wände sind dünn, man hört die Spülung des Nebenzimmers laut, ebenso wie laute Gespräche. Hielt sich aber in Grenzen. Je nach anderen Gästen sicherlich unterschiedlich unangenehm. Die Brause im winzigen Bad ließ sich nicht befestigen und der Duschvorhang war so angebracht, dass man stets das gesamte Bad duschte. Es gab aber jeden Tag eine neue Duschmatte. Wenn man weiß, was man bekommt, ingesamt wirklich zufriedenstellend! Würde es weiterempfehlen bei Leuten, die nicht viel Luxus brauchen.
