For price room was basic with a small bathroom and WiFi and tv in the room very poor. Breakfast was only half as advertised. Now on saying all that the staff in the hotel were great and the food served was excellent. Whitehills is a lovely north east fishing village and situated to easily visit Banff, Portsoy, Sandend and Cullen so very worth a visit.

This has an amazing restaurant,staff very knowledgeable and very friendly, food excellent, very homely pub also and friendly people,hotel room excellent and clean , we had dogs with us and they were warmly welcomed also , can take dogs in bar but not restaurant which is not a problem at all ,excellent location with great parking ,highly recommended and we will be back ,dinner in evening great selection of locally sourced produce , and also breakfast in the morning amazing .

Had a lot of character.staff were excellent.attentive to our needs etc. Two issues the TV and the shower were both resolved.smallest room in the house for the longest staying guests and we filed.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent. The room we were in was small, the bathroom was poor and did not smell very nice. One night we had a washing machine go through about three spin cycles about 12 midnight and the whole room was shaking. Would only stay here again if there was no where else I think.

I could not fault the hotel. It was very clean and the staff were friendly. The room was tiny and the en-suite was extremely small. I could have coped with that but there were building works ongoing and we were woken up with two large diggers right outside our window at 7.15am. I am wondering why they were taking guests when this car park construction was happening. They could have at least warned us and given a reduced rate. We checked out the next day.
