Lily was an amazing host. So helpful with booking our activities. The hotel is in the perfect location just behind the hustle and bustle but peaceful on its street. We booked the family suite which gave us pretty much the whole top floor. Heaps of space!! Will be back again next time.

We had such an amazing stay here. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was good and the pool was quite nice too. The location was also ideal for us as it's on a quiet street but just a short walk to the river and to the night market which are much busier areas. The two ladies running the front desk were also super lovely and helpful with booking transportation, excursions and renting bikes. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

The staff were lovely and welcoming. They gave us ideas of things to do and offered to book us taxis or arrange trips. The hotel was great and good and excellent value. It was right in the heart of the town and just minutes from the river

Lovely stay at La An hotel - the staff were very helpful including helping us sort tours. Very close to the old town and the night market but also tucked away enough that it was quiet. Our room was just off the lobby so lacked a bit of privacy.

Very nice stay. Room has everything you need. Place is in best location. Just walking distance from the river to see the lanterns and 15 mins from coconut basket. Lovely staff. Would definitely stay again and recommend this place 100%

If youre looking for a local experience in Hoi A with great staff who will organise travel for you, tours for you and also are overall friendly and warm this is a great place for you to choose. The rooms are small but clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is right in the middle of old Town and you are immersed in the locals there as well and a short 100m to the night market and bars. It’s quiet there from the hustle and bustle and close to the river. Lily and Anna are amazing and you will have a great time with their guidance.

Best place

Although I only stayed in La An old town for 1 night, I felt comfortable and warm like at home. Great, clean rooms. Staff are very friendly. Thank Anna for welcoming me so much and introducing me to destinations in Hoi An. She is a very thoughtful and sophisticated person. 100% recommend La an hotel to you

Considering all of conditions,it's affordable to stay. The location was very good and it's very easy to explore to most of the major places on foot.The building was not new but was properly maintained. Both of the receiptionists are nice and made some arrangements smoothly.I enjoyed the conversation with them.too. I heard some noise from the next room but it didn't make so much issues. One thing to raise the negative point is no partaion between my room and the next room at the barchony.

The staff were nice enough however the hotel was awful. Quite possibly the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The room, bathroom, towels and bedding were dirty. Lots of things were broken or breaking inside the room with electrical wires exposed. After one night I left the hotel and found accommodation elsewhere as I couldn’t stay any longer and the facilities were so poor I couldn’t even bring myself to shower in the dirty bathroom or use their towels. The hot items at breakfast were cold and when I opted for cold options the cereals etc were stale and the options of both hot and cold foods were extremely limited. Also be warned the hotel is located on the central island in Hoi An and when the river flooded you had to walk through knee deep water to get to the hotel and this is a regular occurrence. Due to the proximity to the street market the roads near the hotel close so you can only access the hotel by foot. The hotel is also not accessibility friendly with steps up from the street and stairs up to all rooms in the property. Avoid at all costs.

Room was dirty and had mould on the walls. We arrived having just been caught in a storm dripping wet through the lady member of staff then proceeded to have us wait to check while she finished showing a video on her phone to a friend. Then proceeded to try and sell activities. Before even letting us to the room to change out of our wet clothes. Very unimpressed as then the room had mould on the walls in the bathroom. Overall absolutely nothing like the pictures shown would not recommend this stay at all. Proceeded to move hotels to another as this one did not feel good at all.

Great location within walking distance to the city centre of Hoi an yet really peaceful and quiet at night. The room was great, the shower in the wooden bathtub was a little bit odd but good. Breakfast was alright. Overall excellent Price/Value! Bike rental possible, but bikes pretty crappy. Motorbike was good. Why I can only give 4 stars and not 5 stars is the very aggressive approach right on arrival of talking us into booking additional tours or visiting an open air show etc. I found that pretty annoying to be honest. You can say no to all this but it will take some energy away from you ;) Additional travel advice: Have dinner at morning glory signature restaurant, 1st floor balcony, make a reservation! You will not regret that :)
