Nice, comfortable stay
Perfect place to stay the night before a running event in the area and also close to the Lotus Pond. Room was clean, had all the amenities needed. I thought it listed a gym online, but there wasn't one. Maybe i remembered wrong.

Overall, for the price this is a nice hotel. It is an easy taxi ride from the TRA/HSR station (go to the TRA side for a taxi since that side is closer to the hotel). There is a bus stop close to the hotel, but the buses going to the train station seemed to only run about every 30 to an hour, so using a taxi was better use of time. The front desk staff were all friendly and spoke enough English that communication was not a problem. There are two 7-11 stores within easy walking distance which is something to keep in mind for guests who come from a Western background. The free breakfast is completely local food, and if that is not your preference, then being able to grab something more Western is helpful. Again, overall, for the price and the easy access to the HSR/TRA station this is a good option to choose.
Location is excellent, room design not that nice. The AC's air flow somehow bounced against the wall right into my face (or back of my head), even at weakest setting, and there is no soap holder for the sink. Other than that, the room was minimalist but got the job done.
Also, this is one of those hotels that ask you to leave your room card at reception when you step out.
