B in B Lisbon Downtown Suites

Wifi is a little slow in general but it's very nice service..

Patricia has been an amazing and friendly host. The room has a nice decor and good facilitites (Nespresso machine and private bathroom with shower, very high ceiling, wifi). The view from the balcony tough is on an internal (uggly) court, the positive is that the room is very quite. The position of the room is ideal to visit and enjoy the city. Overall I'm satisfied with teh stay and I will recomend it to a friend

The suite was spotlessly clean in a very central location. Our room wasn't particularly big, but perfectly adequate for a short city break. We didn't take the breakfast option, but there was a complimentary bottle of wine and water, with fruit, cheese and cold meats on our arrival. Patricia is a delight to deal with, answering all of our emails promptly, both before and during our stay. The location is perfect with numerous eateries virtually on the doorstep. Guests with mobility problems should be aware that the suites are on the second floor of the building and there isn't a lift.

This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Lisbon. So much is walkable from here, and there are three Metro stops within a 5-10 minute walk in 3 different directions. The historic trolley stops are also a 5 minute walk. There is no hotel lobby, so you are provided a code to enter the building and to access a locker to get your room key. Rooms are up two flights of stairs. The room itself is small, with no place to really store luggage, so it’s pretty tight. If two people bring more than a roll aboard suitcase each, it’ll be a real challenge. The bathroom is also very small, with a shower that is about 4 square feet in size, so not a lot of room to turn around. The bed is comfortable, and there’s a ductless heatpump with a remote control to get heat or air conditioning. It works very well. There is also a mini fridge and the owners left 2 small bottles of water for us. They also left some fruit. The oranges were really good! Upon arrival, they left us a bottle of wine and a small meat and cheese tray. It was very nice of them and much appreciated since our flight was delayed and we arrived late. You can hear a fair amount of street noise, especially from the outdoor dining around the corner, and can hear people walking around in the apartment above. If you’re light sleeper, this can be an issue. Overall, we really enjoyed this place and it’s location. If in Lisbon again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The host, Patricia was really kind and helpful during our whole stay. She even anticipated our early arrival by offering us to leave our luggage in the property and giving us the room key which will be available to be used after 2pm. When we entered the room later that day we were very happy to find a bottle of delicious portugese wine on the table. Thumbs up for that. The property looks old from the outside but it is interestingly equipped with modern security system; access card for the main entrance, room door and safety box were available. The location of the property is also very nice. Really close to praca do commercio and baixa area. A lot of good food, shopping area, and the sea. Breakfast was really good for 3 euro per person per day. Some milk, corfee, bread, cheese, ham, orange juice were there. Overall, I would say it was a great experience to stay here. A very nice property with a very nice host.
