The hotel is clean and in a great location close to a nice restaurant, coffee shop and the beach. But, the reception staff are not helpful. We were staying in the beach house which is a completely different building, no guidance on where to go or how to find our room. When we asked where breakfast was served we were told “that building”. No further directions, turns out the breakfast is downstairs just to the left of reception. The breakfast itself was nice, opened at 8 and was very busy at this time. We watched multiple people filling their bags with food to take with them. Finally, and the worst bit for us was that the air con didn’t work and the bed was rock solid. It’s 2 single beds pushed together and not a single hint of a spring in sight. The loungers by the pool were more comfortable than the bed. By the end of our 4 nights we were exhausted having had very little sleep.

Really enjoyed our stay, great ocean view. Location was quiet, convenient and good access to the beach. Breakfast was tasty, which you can enjoy on the terrace. There is a spa which we did not use as there is so much to explore in the area. Free parking, we had a car that allowed us to explore the area. Salema is a delightful town, 17 kms away. Lagos is only 32 kms away, great to visit but enjoyed the quiet in Sagres. Close drive to Cabo de Sao Vicente to watch the sunset.

The hotels location were all excellent - the only problem was the address that you were taken to was incorrect and disappointing. The phone we were given did not work so after a stressful hour or so we went to another hotel and they help us. Finally worth it

Beautiful pool at the edge of the world

Great hotel at great location. We really enjoyed our two day stay here. Pool was great and room was cosy. Surrounding areas were interesting at the "edge of the world". Nearby sea was the cleanest we saw during our trip to Portugal.

This is a great place for a view of the ocean if you book a room with an ocean view patio. It’s also a quick walk to the beach. The room facilities were average, but if you’re planning on spending most of your time out sightseeing or on the beach, this place is great. Incredible view of the sunset.

Goregous hotel for Sagres Adventure

What a gorgeous hotel! We had an amazing time even if the weather was less than amazing. The facilities were great, especially the infinity pool! We would definitely stay again if we are ever in Sagres again.

I had a great room with a beautiful view. The staff was friendly and quickly replaced my room’s refrigerator that wasn’t working. Excellent location with a short walk to the beach and easy access to the trails in the area. The pool was warm and very nice.

Great view of the ocean from our room on the 2nd floor of the Beach House. It had a huge balcony which was nice. Shower and bathroom were great. The complimentary breakfast was decent. Our only complaint was the main door to the beach house had a spring that made the door slam which would reverberate through the building. Switch that mechanism for a soft close one and you’ve got a winner.

Nice place. Noisy doors

The beach house is in a great location and the pool is lovely. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The outside door is incredibly noisy though and woke us up with the first guests leaving every morning . Also the key stoped working at least once a day so lots of trips up to reception which got annoying. It’s a shame because otherwise it was a lovely place to stay. The pillows could use an upgrade.
