We loved our stay here in Positano! The staff were so friendly, helpful with directions & tips, and accommodating. The view from this place is incredible - you get to see Positano from fairly high up. The room was very spacious, clean, and functional. Our booking had a private balcony/patio area where we could relax and take photos with the beautiful view. Breakfast is provided in the mornings, and it's a delicious spread with a variety of foods. Overall, we had an amazing experience with this place and would highly recommend it! It's worth the hike up the stairs, and you get used to the walk very quickly (plus it provides some exercise after you've eaten a lot of pizza and pasta).

This hotel is beautiful tastefully decorated. Very clean. Location was excellent. You still have to do a lot of walking to get down to the main streets, so make sure you have comfy walking shoes. Cecelia at the front desk went above and beyond to help us in anyway that we needed making reservations for us helping us navigate the streets. This company is lucky to have her at the front desk. We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. I highly recommend it. We are very fussy travelers and this was a perfect place to stay.

Our stay was a very quick one... arrived just after check-in time, and were picked up by our driver about 24 hours later. Upon arrival, their front desk was very informative on many logistical questions we had. There's a path that leaves the back of the hotel and connects with stairways and other pathways that lead you all the way to the beach to avoid walking any of the main roads. But, we found out that walking the road was not bad at all. We just followed the instructions from the front desk to stay on the side of the road where cars are parked... that way we could step off the road between parked cars to clear the road for tour busses, etc. Only hard thing about the walk to the beach was the August heat... yes, we were sweating, but we would have done the same regardless of our hotel location. I'm 62 but still, the walk's views, interesting pathways, lower room rate than a room lower on the hillside more than made up for the climb. This facility was extremely clean, and the breakfast provided was simply AMAZING in all the ways that a Positano patio with a view breakfast can be measured! After we checked out from our room on day 2's morning, we left our luggage at the hotel and walked to the beach. Mid-afternoon we returned to the hotel. The front desk offered us towels, use of their lobby bathroom to change clothes in, brought us ice water, and kept a lookout for our driver while we cooled off inside with A/C awaiting our ride back to Naples.

Incredible stay

We loved our stay here. We stayed for one night and very last minute, so we got lucky with this booking. The staff are all so lovely, have a lot of great tips for Positano and suggested the most fantastic restaurant for dinner. The best part about this hotel is the incredible views from the balcony. Just amazing! The rooms are big and spacious and we didn’t want to leave. Thanks again!

I loved everything about Il Moro Di Positano! The view when you get off the elevator is incredible!! Our room was large and comfortable, and our patio was huge with the most amazing view!!
