Fantastic space in a repurposed church. We loved the restaurant/hang-out areas, especially the hidden one on the third floor. And our room tucked behind the pipe organ (yes, I typed that correctly) was a fun nook. A couple things to note: these really are tight, minimalist rooms. We knew that going in and enjoyed it, but if you're reading reviews to make a decision, it should be part of what you're weighing. Mattress was stiff (most in Netherlands are) and bike parking was jammed, but otherwise a great location and stay.

Bunk Utrecht was a great stay. It’s close enough to Centraal to walk with luggage, and the restored‑church setting gives the lobby and restaurant a really unique atmosphere with a solid crowd. The box‑bed setup feels private and well designed, and the bathrooms were consistently clean and well maintained.

Hostel in a former church. Designed impeccably and sustainably. The sleeping “pod” areas were very quiet. Lively and fun restaurant and bar in the hostel lobby. Art on the walls. Excellent location, near Utrecht Central Station. Highly recommend.

The location is perfect especially after a train journey to Utrecht, located about a 5 min walk from Utrecht central station. The hotel its self was very clean, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The beds were also really comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. But if you are old or disabled please don't stay here the rooms are very small and if you have a spouse they will need to crawl over you to get to the bathroom at night. I was so happy to leave this hotel because I was looking forward to a normal size room.

Well located hotel, well presented and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but well designed to maximize useful space (eg high beds so luggage can be stored under with lighting under bed) and are comfortable. While the hotel has elevators some rooms require lifting luggage up stairs.
