Design-Highlight in der böhmischen Provinz

Nach Benutzung eines klassischen Türklopfers am Eingang zur Bar wurden wir sehr freundlich von einem jungen Mann empfangen, der uns auf die Frage nach Möglichkeiten für ein Abendessen gleich einen Stadtplan und ein paar Tipps gab. Die Bar ist ein absolutes Design-Highlight - eigentlich das ganze Hotel; im wesentlichen vom Eigentümer selbst gestaltet.Wir waren begeistert. Unser 3-Bett-Zimmer (obwohl nur Doppelzimmer gebucht) war ebenfalls originell gestaltet und für einen kurzen Städtetrip ausreichend groß. Da eine Hochstraße leider direkt vor das Hotel gebaut wurde, unbedingt gute Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen oder sich bei Buchung vergewissern, dass man ein Zimmer zum Innenhof bekommt. Wobei wir aber nicht beurteilen können, wie laut oder leise es da ist. Die Betten erschienen uns zwar recht hart - was unseren Schlaf aber nicht beeinträchtigte. Das kleine Frühstück in der Bar war wirklich gut, der Kaffee sehr gut, das Ambiente sensationell! Wir kamen mit dem liebenswerten Besitzer ausführlich ins Gespräch, der das Haus offenbar mehr aus Liebhaberei als aus wirtschaftlicher Notwendigkeit betreibt. Es liegt max. 10 min zu Fuß von der Altstadt. Für besondere Anlässe wartet eine Stretch-Limousine! Schade, dass in der Bar nach unserer Rückkehr aus der Altstadt eher "tote Hose" herrschte. Laut Besitzer hat sich das Gästeverhalten in letzter Zeit leider deutlich dahingehend geändert. Anderseits nimmt die tolle Einrichtung damit weniger Schaden. Gerne wieder, falls Pisek am Programm steht.
