Seemed like there were not enough staff to cater for the number of guests - considering its still May that may explain why this is. Everything was good, just very long queues at all the bars. In previous years this has been managed from all sides of the bar but this time round it was single file in both the pool and lobby bar. This put off some guests at times Will return again!

We had an amazing time at Hotel Best Costa Ballena! The food was excellent – varied, fresh, and always delicious. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean and very well maintained; you can tell that cleanliness and comfort are top priorities here. The pool area is fantastic – spacious, inviting, and perfect for families or simply relaxing. We also loved the proximity to the ocean: just a short walk and you’re at a beautiful, wide sandy beach with crystal-clear water. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel completely at home. We’ll definitely come back – highly recommended!

This is our 4th time staying at this hotel, and we absolutely love coming back! The cleanliness is always top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful—truly excellent customer service. The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of delicious options, and vegetarians will have no trouble finding something satisfying. The location is great if you have a car—just 10 to 25 minutes to Chipiona, Rota, Jerez de la Frontera, and Cádiz. It’s also about a 1 hour and 45 minute drive to Seville, which makes for a nice day trip. The beds are incredibly comfortable (some of the best we've ever slept in!), and overall, the hotel continues to exceed our expectations. We can't wait to return again!

Another great little break at Costa Ballena. Despite the long queues at check in, the staff worked through the lines promptly. Food at the buffet was ok, has been better in the past, same with the pool restaurant. There was plenty of entertainment for the kids during the day and in the evening which was appreciated. Grounds and pool were clean at all times. Don't understand why small inflatables are not allowed in the main pool. I understand big ones, but small rubber rings should be considered in my opinion. Thank you for a nice few days (think its our fourth visit), will come again soon!

Property is family friendly, staff very helpful. Common spaces Very spacious and clean. Childrens pool and play area is perfect for kids, beach is easily accessible and location feels isolated from outside distractions. If you like lots and lots of screaming kids crying everywhere, this is the hotel for you. There is no peace. The room and the place is nice but the amount of people and quality of those people is very hard to bear. Awful music blasting at the pool. I was not happy here.

The hotel pools are amazing, clean and with plenty of sun beds. My only comments would be that the kids food options need improving. The bolgnaise sauce was watery with hardly any meat and the lasagne was not fresh but the frozen type. Maybe some mashed potatoes, chicken fingers, homemade lasagne and Mac and Cheese would be great to have. Also the room shower has no raised platform so when you shower even with little water pressure the water will leak out making a huge mess. That is not ideal when you have small kids which is a shame when the bathroom is big enough to fit a bathtub.

Hotellet är bra, men behöver tas omhand om bättre. Vi hade mycket problem med myror på rummet. Incheckning kan du göra på distans, men när du kommer får du ändå stå i samma kö som de som inte checkat in i förväg. Frukosten är bland de sämre vi haft, där inte ens frukten kändes ok. Långa köer till pannkakor och annat, och allmänt högljud miljö. Men läget vid havet är fantastiskt och poolområdet bra.

Instalaciones habilitadas para toda la familia. Muy masificado NO recomendado para quiénes buscan tranquilidad y atención muy personalizada. Habitación cómoda y limpia. Baño y limpieza buenos. Piscina excelente, algo resbaladizo el suelo de acceso. Personal amable, algo desbordados en hora punta de comedor. Buffet bueno. Mi nota global BIEN.
