We booked a deluxe suite and the room has a very strange smell coming from the bathroom. We asked to be switched to a different room and they provided one the following day. Overall it was a good hotel, very central, the bed was comfortable, but the water temperature in the shower was hit or miss. The staff accommodated us the best they could, so 10/10 in customer service.

We had a wonderful stay at the Martius Hotel. The staff was very friendly and we were assisted with any questions. Our room was a bit small (this was our choice) but very clean and we lacked nothing. Breakfast of sweet pastries and rolls, yogurt, coffee and juice. Everything is beautifully presented and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Above all - the location is unbeatable! Close to everything, 4 minutes from Via del Corso, 2 minutes from the Pantheon. The hotel is next to the famous Gioliti ice cream parlor. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Checked in only to be put in a dreary musty room that showed wear and tear. shower smelled of cespool. called down top change room But was told they are sold out. Did not want to ruin my days in Rome so left hotel without any refund and checked into a new hotel. I would say thats poor customer service and He didnt seem to careat all, rather rude when checking in and asked of we liked the new pope which was in condesending tone.

The room was very modern, new and so comfortable. It was so close to everything in historic Rome even in the rain. Breakfast was very intimate with an assortment of traditional Italian pastries and coffee. I have to give Peter a sincere thank you again as we landed on New Years Day after our flight being delayed for 6 hours. He continued to communicate with me ensuring he would find us a driver and be waiting for us even on the holiday. The location was perfect - right in the middle of everything, but the entrance was private so it was quiet and you couldn’t tell you were in the heart of it all.
