The property very well located, close to lots of shops and places of interest and also a metro station. Staff were brilliant, always nice and helpful. Breakfast was simple but good and staff there were wonderful and cheerful. The room should have newer sheets and towels as we have some stains and even a hole in our towels but staff were really nice and this made our stay very good. We also had water and tea and coffee in the room which was very helpful. I will recommend it but bear in mind is not a luxury hotel.

Super friendly staff in the breakfast room made the start to the holiday and each day a real pleasure. The room was always beautifully cleaned. The bed and pillow could have been a little more comfortable but that is personal preference. A little more coffee in the room would have been nice for the coffee in bed in the morning and at the end of the day.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Novel Hotel. Very clean and nicely renovated. The breakfast area is a bit small and the plates would smell like eggs sometimes but the staff was very helpful and kind. The location is great too, close to a tramway station and in a good safe area. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel :)

My stay in Istanbul

Hotel is in a really good location, not only is it very close to the Grand Bazar and the Haga Sophia Mosque, but also a 3 minute walk to either the tram or the Metro. There are restaurants very close by.It's a small hotel, beds, shower etc. are absolutly fine. Breakfast is adequate, the only complaint I might have is that the coffee for breakfast was very bland and flavourless.

Fantastic hotel, very clean. Short walk to tram. Close to Metro which we took from airport but not advisable. lots of waking between stations, confusing plus huge crowds. Take taxi for $35.
