Max70 was like a nice Hampton Inn (Hilton chain) hotel: clean, comfortable with some nice extras and convenient to downtown Salzburg as well as Schlöss Hellbrunn and Schlöss Leopoldskroner. By “convenient” I mean 20 minutes by bus or 35 minutes walk. The extras we appreciated were the clothes racks for drying clothing as well as the chocolates left with our personal glasses. The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and offering to make coffee (since there was no coffee in the room - the one possible negative for coffee lovers).

Room big enough for 4 people and clean apart from the shower head. Breakfast was a bit meager and lacked variety but understandable for a smaller hotel.
