My wife and I have stayed here many times. The property is always impeccably maintained. The staff is very friendly and professional. All of our needs are met all the time. A special thank you to Visna. The breakfast is great and the evening menu is delicious as well. We highly recommend Le Relais.

Fantastic property in the most wonderful location. We loved this hotel and the Mekong Suite. The evening meals were very good. We enjoyed the kayaking excursion amongst the dolphins. The staff were lovely and we would love to return. It is not for everybody as it is quite a drive from anywhere.

This is a beautiful, small hotel in a rural part of Cambodia. My suite had a large balcony and Mekong view. All the food i had there was excellent and freshly prepared. Staff were always helpful but occasionally difficult to find Not many foreign tourists in this area so dont expect English to be other than basic apart from what i took to be the hotel manager. A delightful stay in a historic hotel.

Lovely historic hotel

This hotel oozes old colonial charm. There are lovely touches in some of the rooms with old photos etc which add to the ambience. Overall facilities are very good but we had a few minor niggles such as the shower being just ok (water not as hot as we'd like) & tv not working. The free bikes are a lovely touch & we enjoyed our ride through the local countryside. One issue though is that it seemed short-staffed. Frequently there was no-one at Reception or around to ask. Also whilst some staff speak excellent English, some of the restaurant waiting staff didnt so whilst we could order ok, we couldnt get any answers to questions about the content. Not a big issue. In summary, this is a lovely relaxing place to stay but is far out from Kratie. If your purpose is to see the dolphins, I'd choose somewhere in Kratie.

endroit magnifique où tout est fait pour que les clients se sentent bien. Personnel au top. Beaucoup de choses à disponibilité (raquettes de badminton, velos de bonne qualité, ballons, jeux d'echec, table de billard pool, ....). Chaque cadre, chaque détail de décoration mérite de l'attention et raconte une histoire. Piscine clean avec jolie végétation. Un vrai séjour relaxant.

La bâtisse est magnifique et le lieu a beaucoup de charme, mais les chambres pourraient être un peu améliorées pour être au niveau du prix (100 € la nuit). Malheureusement, le service n’est pas du tout à la hauteur. Il n’y a souvent personne à la réception, même au moment du check-in. Nous avons également eu un incident : un matin, alors que nous étions dans la chambre, la clé était insérée dans le boîtier (ce qui indique clairement que la chambre est occupée). Nous avons entendu du bruit, puis en ouvrant la porte, mon compagnon, qui était en sous-vêtements, est tombé sur une employée de l’hôtel en train d’utiliser nos toilettes. Elle avait retiré notre clé pour entrer dans la chambre, elle ne pouvait donc pas ignorer qu’il y avait quelqu’un à l’intérieur. La situation a été tres gênante. Un soir vers 19h30, nous sommes également rentrés d’excursion et avons trouvé l’hôtel complètement fermé avec une chaîne sur le portail, sans aucune information ni personnel sur place. En résumé : un lieu magnifique mais un service qui n’est clairement pas à la hauteur du prix ni du standing attendu.

Un endroit hors du temps, au charme d'antan ! Une belle parenthèse dans un voyage d'une durée de 4 semaines. Idéal pour se reposer ne serait-ce qu'une nuit et même pour y déguster de très bons plats. Nous avons grandement apprécié notre choix.

2 nuits dans ce charmant hotel colonial. Un ravissement Des velos à disposition pour aller balader au bord du Mekong, cependant ne vous attendez pas a voir de coucher de soleil par ici, car ce n'est paq la bonne exposition pour ça. De nombreux moustiques et dommage quil n'y ai pas de moustiquaire au lit. Le pti dej est à la carte et TRES limité Le piscine est très agreable et plus jolie en vrai qu'en photo. Un séjour positif

Surprisingly good

Great place to stay. We only stayed one night but left wishing we had more time there. Great grounds, room and service. You can imagine yourself a few generations ago attending a dinner party at a large French home on the Mekong. Get a room facing the river if you can.

Onderweg naar Kratie is dit een ideale stopplaats. Grote kamers, piekfijn in orde, voortreffelijk zwembad, heerlijk uitzicht over de Mekong. Heel mooi gerestaureerd gebouw, schitterende plafonds. Renovated mansion with all mod cons

Delightful hotel only renovated in February to high standard whilst leaving all the features of this French mansion. The pool area was pleasant and the restaurant overlooks the Mekong. Pierre, the manager, was very welcoming and the hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere. A convenient overnight stay on our way from Phnom Penh to Kratie but we would have liked to stay longer.

Magnifique bâtisse restaurer

Une épine dans une botte de foin ! Un endroit au luxe  improbable dans un petit village retirer près du mekong cette jolie demeure de 1916 avec une restauration très bien réussi,calme ,luxe, et volupté se dégage de cette bâtisse au couleur pastel reposante. Avec sa picicine son billard et la vue sur le mekong sont les points fort de cette hotel. Ce relais possède tout le confort des grands hôtels  sans oublier  accueille sympas et professionnels par un couple Français j'y reviendrai lors de mon prochain passage dans la région j'espère une  bonne continuation à cette établissement !
